FINALY – one of the most highly anticipated cameras of the year.

As I look back over my blog entries I concede that it may appear we favour Olympus over anything else. That really is not the case, it's just that, well, Olympus are doing things that excite us. Lets face it, a camera is a camera is a camera. Frankly I'd rather be talking about a Rickenbacker 4003 in black with white binding & scratch plate and that's a dream I'll hang on to. But the new Olympus Pen E-P1 will be my next camera.
I love the Micro 4 Thirds concept and I love what Olympus have come up with. With classic retro styling and 21st century digital know-how Olympus have created what I anticipate will be an award winning camera. This will be every travellers number one choice.
The image quality of an SLR camera (interchangeable lenses and 12.3 MPx) and the convenience of a compact camera.
The E-P1 body design is based on Olympus' famous & successful PEN series rangefinder cameras dating back to the 60's. The look and feel of this camera is stunning. The results are breath taking.
